Explore and grow your artistic skills. Inside-Outside is a plein air-studio workshop that will help you explore new acrylic techniques in both outdoor and studio settings. Whether you’re new to acrylics, considering a switch, or already experienced with the medium, this workshop has something for everyone.

Start outdoors, learning practical plein air techniques to simplify landscapes, capture light and movement, and master the composition of outdoor scenes. Throughout the weekend, Samantha will guide you with tips and techniques that will help foster a richer understanding of acrylics and the plein air process.

Then turn it inside - into the studio where the focus shifts to expanding one of your plein air studies into a larger, more detailed piece. Samantha will demonstrate how to connect a painting through its narrative and build on the emotional take of abstracting the landscape rather than capturing a photographic or realistic reference. She will also showcase advanced techniques for incorporating textured pastes and gels to add another dimension to your work.
