What are Art on 9th Artist Retreats?

Are there any pre-requisites or skill level requirements.

That's the beauty of Art on 9th retreats. Whether you're just starting out and wanting to learn the basics, or an established artist looking to take your work to the next level, our retreats are designed for artists of all backgrounds and experience. With an abundance of one-on-one guidance from our instructors and plenty of hands-on practice time, you'll spend the weekend in a fun and supportive, learning environment.

How do I register for a retreat?

Registration is easy. You can register for our artist retreats through our website.

  • Visit our website.
  • Click the Artists Retreats tab at the top of the page. 
  • Click on the retreat you want to attend. Review the details.
  • Click the add to cart button.
  • Click the Checkout button.
  • Enter your payment information and then click the Pay Now button.
  • Watch for your confirmation email. 

Does registration include meals and accommodation?

No, meals and accommodations are not included in the registration fee. Participants are responsible for their own meals and lodging. For a list of great places to stay click here.

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both participants, the instructor, and Art on 9th.

  • Full refunds are provided for cancellations made more than 30 days before the retreat.
  • A 50% refund is available for cancellations made 15-30 days prior.
  • No refunds are offered for cancellations within 14 days of the event. 

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Yes, registrations are transferable. You may transfer your registration to another individual up to 7 days before the retreat begins. Please contact us with the registration details and the name of the new participant.

What happens if Art on 9th cancels a retreat?

If a retreat is cancelled due to insufficient registrations or adverse weather conditions, registered participants will be notified at least 10 days in advance and will receive a full refund. Participants also have the option to transfer their registration to another retreat.

What art supplies do I need - where do I find the supply list?

You are responsible for bringing your own supplies. Retreat instructors provide a list of recommended art supplies you should have so that you can get the most out of the workshop. 

Are there any specific preparations I need to make before attending a retreat

We recommend that you bring comfortable clothing suitable for artistic activities and any personal art supplies you prefer. Additional preparation tips specific to your chosen retreat will be sent to you after registration.
