Can I visit your physical gallery in Invermere, BC?

Of course. We love having art lovers come to gallery. Whether you’re wanting to see a particular piece, are looking for ideas, have questions, or just want to appreciate the beauty of the exhibit and the talent of some of western Canada’s best artists, we’d love to see you. Are there any events in your physical gallery?

Yes, we frequently host events, hold artist demos, organize art talks, or celebrate special occasions at the gallery. We also participate in Invermere’s Art Walk the first Friday evening of every month.

Purchasing Online

How do I purchase artwork online?

Buying art from our Art on 9th online is a straightforward process:

  • Browse our curated collection and click on the artwork you're interested in to view more details and images.
  • Add the desired artwork to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  • Provide your shipping information. Shipping costs are calculated automatically
  • Complete the payment securely online using your preferred payment method.
  • Once the purchase is confirmed, we will carefully package and ship the artwork to your designated address.

Do you provide framing services?

We don’t have a framing service, however we do work with other framing shops. Get in touch with us and we would be happy to help.

How do I know if a piece of art will suit my taste and space?

We understand that choosing art can be overwhelming, especially for first-time buyers. Here are some tips:

I’ve never bought original art before. Can you help me find a piece that works for me, even if I don’t know what I’m looking for?

Yes! We understand that choosing the right artwork can be challenging, for new and seasoned art buyers alike. Here's how we can help make it a little less daunting:

  • You can provide us with photos and measurements of your space, and our experts will offer personalized recommendations to complement your aesthetics and fit your space.
  • We can provide virtual consultations, in-person appointments at the gallery, or if you live nearby, in-home consultations. We’ll work with you to discuss your preferences and help you find the ideal artwork that resonates with you.

How can I be confident in the quality and authenticity of the artwork?

We take pride in representing talented artists and ensuring the authenticity of the artwork we offer:

  • We specialize in original art created by Western Canadian artists who are carefully selected for their artistic skill and unique styles.
  • Each artwork comes with a detailed description, including the artist's background and the medium used.
  • We provide certificates of authenticity for the work you purchase, giving you peace of mind regarding the source and quality of the artwork.

Can I get additional information about the artist behind the artwork?

Definitely! We believe in fostering a connection between our customers and the artists. Here's how to learn more about the artists:

  • Each artist and the work we have available  is featured on our website. You can explore their portfolios and learn more about their artistic style and accomplishments. Each artist listing includes a biography or artist statement, providing insights into the artist's background, inspirations, and artistic journey.

Can I see additional images or more detailed information about a specific artwork?

Yes! We want to provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision. Each artwork listing on our online gallery includes high-resolution images to showcase the artwork's details and textures.

Do you offer local delivery?

We do! When purchasing online you can choose to pick it up at our gallery or have it delivered to your door within the area of Invermere and Calgary city limits free of charge.

Do you ship internationally (outside of Canada or United States?)

Yes, however please contact us prior to purchasing and we will provide a shipping quote.

Do you provide shipping services?

Yes, we can ship anywhere in the world.

Are shipping costs included in the price of the artwork?

No. Shipping costs are calculated during checkout.

Because art shipping and handling costs can vary widely depending on the medium and weight of the artwork (i.e. canvas vs. wood), Art on 9th reserves the right to modify shipping costs after checkout. In this case, you will ALWAYS be contacted and notified about the modification to the invoice, and you reserve the right to a full refund on your purchase. This is rare and we commit to quoted shipping price aside from extraneous circumstances (i.e. we are off by hundreds of dollars).

Are payment plans or financing options available for art purchases?

While we are exploring financing options, we, unfortunately, do not have any payment plans or financing options available now.

How do you ensure the privacy and security of my personal and payment information?

Protecting your privacy and ensuring secure transactions are our top priorities. Here's how we safeguard your information:

  • We use industry-standard encryption technology to secure your personal and payment information during online transactions. All transactions are processed through industry leading payment processing services. We do not collect any credit card or banking information.
  • Our website is regularly monitored and updated to maintain a secure browsing and shopping environment.

Do you display work from local artists?


Located in Invermere, the gallery is home to an impressive collection of original art from more than 30 artists all local to Western Canadian.

Can I submit my work for consideration?

Art on 9th Gallery is currently accepting submissions from artists, with a focus on painting. To find out more, visit here.

Can I request a commission or custom artwork from one of the artists?

Many of our artists accept commission requests. Here's what you need to know:

  • Commissioned artwork allows you to have a unique piece created specifically for you, tailored to your preferences and requirements.
  • Please contact us to discuss your commission idea, and we'll connect you with the artist to explore the possibilities and provide pricing details.
  • Once you have commissioned the piece, we collect a payment equal to 50% of the price. The balance is payable when the finished piece is delivered.
