Janet received her degree in Fine Arts from McMaster University, and after a career in government, working in design and project management, she returned to her artistic roots in 1998. Janet’s oil on canvas paintings primarily feature the landscapes of Ontario and Quebec where she loves to paddle and explore. Although her painting style is distinctively her own, her work has been likened to that of the Group of Seven. Her paintings are vibrant, distinctly Canadian and often feature a canoe or kayak with their graceful curves and mesmerizing reflections.
