Holly McWilliams is a Calgary-based artist and educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. She works across watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media, and her classes support all levels—from beginners to advanced artists. Known for her expressive style and use of bold color and atmosphere, Holly’s work spans figurative pieces, landscapes, and her signature “Dreamscape Series.”

A warm, engaging instructor, Holly blends technical expertise with humor and encouragement. Her teaching focuses on building confidence, developing creative skills, and fostering a lifelong love of art. Since founding Indigo Arts in 2005, she has inspired thousands of students through workshops, retreats, and ongoing classes. Holly is represented by Avens Gallery and Lineham House, and her work is held in collections across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
